For Students, By Students
Freedom’s Answer
is a program run by the student leaders of America.
A National Advisory Council (NAC) and National Leadership Council
(NLC) include students from every state and various organizations
like:
- 4-H
- Boys and Girls Club of America
- Boys and Girls Nation; Boys and Girls States
- Boys and Girl Scouts
- DECA
- FFA
- HOBY
- Junior ROTC
- Junior State of America
- National Association of Student Councils
- National Honor Society
- Presidential Classroom
- YMCA Youth in Government
- Youth Partnership Team of America's Promise
The National Advisory Council holds a weekly conference call to
discuss the goals and priorities for the Freedom’s Answer
Program. Individuals who are apart of this group set the tone and
work hard to the lay the foundation for the National Leadership
Council.
The National Leadership Council sets the goals and priorities of
Freedom’s Answer, then makes the program happen on the ground.
Every state has a state Advisory Council, composed of NLC members
who meet weekly on a conference call to map out their state strategy.
Whether you’re the student body president or a passionate
freshman, you can join the National Leadership Council. It’s
just regular teens who care about improving politics and showing
Washington DC, our voice matters. All it takes is some time planning
and acting – which you get to do with other students from
around the country.
If you’re not sure you want to make the commitment to be
part of the NLC, you can still help organize your school or community.
